Chateaubriand 36 - Ashland's Finest French Steakhouse and Restaurant

Chateaubriand 36 is a French inspired steakhouse that is warm, welcoming, and a little more casual than Alchemy. The perfect spot to grab a weeknight meal, or nosh before catching a play at OSF or the Cabaret. We feature local growers and producers, craft cocktails, as well as an ever growing selection organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wines with a focus on showcasing local and French producers.

With a large covered outdoor patio area, the restaurant offers year round al fresco dining, with special access to the patio bar.
